The umpteenth annual Sloop tavern Coho derby is being held one weekend earlier this year so it doesn't compete with the Everett Derby. This is the tavern we held our Blackmouth derby at last winter (and again next winter)

Derby ticket Price is $5.00

First Prize is 40% of ticket proceeds. Usually 3-4 bills.

Charlie the owner also provides other small prizes and "Slooper" mugs.

Fishing area is area 10 only.

Sunrise to 1:00pm weigh in.

Ticket sales are at the tavern up until midnight of the 13th.

This is a really fun smaller derby with alot of good folks! The tavern is located in Ballard just east of Shilshole marina. Charlie asked me to extend the invitation to all of you, hope some of you can make it!

Just don't let Erndog fish he will rub it in all year. (He won the BM derby) Just kidden E-Dog.

He doesnt have much to talk about though...wimpy little 5 lb fish. It was better than all those skunks around that day though!

Well true ,besides he is a newbee to the salt. He didn't stop rubben it in til I won the Des Moines derby ,E-Dog did a great job netten

Ok, ok, ya 5lb fish. At the end of the day the score card shows 4 hits, 1 run, end of game. Its not how you win the game, its about walking away with the "W". Same place as the BB derby, hmm might just have to win myself some gas money . Maybe I'll bring in a 2lb for the "W". All in good fun .

Alright there FR, if we're going to post here for everyone to see lets get our stories correct than. Now you did tell me at the end of that derby and I quote " That pole should be mine" . " I should have had the winning fish " . I guess everytime I brought that pole to fish with, you felt like I was rubbing it in huh, that sucks. And that is correct you did break in the new pole, but being that I already had a G-Loomis and that was already broken in, I thought I'd let you feel what it was like to fish with a real fishing pole . Recommendation, be careful what you post, it might bite you in the auss.

Keep bit'en Edog .The G-L had more line on it than my pole. If i wanted one i would bye 1,2 or 3 of them cuz.I think everybody said it should have been theirs Besides i like my Lammy better and my 3 gs too O and my new light from the other derby ,so keep tryen. Finattict Ron
