Played hookie from work and headed down to the Toutle. I didnt even call my boss and let him know I wasnt coming in. With the rain I figured it would be HOT. It was really SLOW. I saw maybe about 5-8 Kings caught. ALL were BRONZE. There were about 3 Silvers hooked that others told me about. The rain did bring up the river but it also made it very silty. I fished up river where the Toutle meets the Green.

With all this rain that is happening in the beautiful northwest the Coho should be showing up. Has anyone fished it lately? Thinking of heading down Sunday morning.... eek

Over 40 kings in 1 day rolleyes I have a hard time believing that.I fished it pretty hard and know some other pretty good fisherman that put in a bunch of time and didnt come close to that.We did pretty well though.
Never know though I guess.

I had to look and see who was posting this.Sounds like somebody else on this board. Then remembered it wasnt the poster that supposedly caught the fish.

The silvers are starting to show, but not in big #s yet. Soon though I think.
