bike rod holder

Just put the tackle box on your rack and you're ready to go.

Wish I'd had that when I was a kid!

Chrome,

Now that made me laugh! My fishing bike was't clipless, not even clips and straps. Not to mention, only one speed - slow.

Sincerely,

Salmo g.

There was a hilarious story in some fishing magazine awhile back about a guy riding a kids bike in waders, back to the launch site..

i remember one time riding down to the fishing hole, hitting a rock and flipping over my handlebars. the worst part of it all was that i broke the tip of my diawa eliminator, a rod they didn't make any more!

anybody here ever rode a bike in to blue creek? i've done it and it makes the trip seem 10 times faster

That IS slick, but it was the tackle box that was the chore to haul for me...especially when it caught the latch on my brake lever and opened at cruising speed. Crap!

I suspect my favorite childhood bass and perch hole has probably been filled and built on by now. frown

Before I had my license I used to just take a backpack and use the little plastic containers you can get to put my tackle in.

It was about 4 miles or so, which was definitely a nice excercise, expecially if I did sprints for BMX... Ahh I miss BMX.
