Seeing that the west side has pretty much sucked this last week, I'm thinking about heading to the east side of the central sound this weekend.

How's it fishing over there?

Thanks in advance.

Chip

Last Sunday morning we pulled up at 4 mile rock around 6:55. The Smurf dropped a herring over the side to check his roll and it got OBLITERATED before it could roll three times. We totaly missed the fish. Once we got ourselves cleaned up from the shock of that we only managed to boat one small coho and a couple of shakers.

Saturday we put Smurfs young son (6) on his first fish ever! We boated a few coho in a few hours. Saw lots of hook ups around West Point.

So call it fair.

I took some friends out Monday to West Point and we limited in coho (6). Largest was 8#. Heard of some in the teens. They were taking both bait and squid - shallow - 25-35'. Off the water by 10AM. Should be even better (bigger) this weekend.
