I've been guiding on the Rogue and Deschutes and been quite busy so I am not up to speed on the where the fin clipping issue is. When I left I was elated at the news that all federal funded hatcheries would be required to clip all fish. I would support that action even if it resulted in fewer fish producded. I did a search and came up with not much that was recent. I heard a rumor that the feds had changed their minds and were not going to clip any fish. If that is true then thsi is truly the end of sportfishing on the Columbia and much of the Ocean and the pukes at Oregon Trout and other anti fishing organizations will have won and the battle is over. PLEASE someone point me to a fact filled thread on this MOST IMPORTANT SUBJECT.
