They do look a little naky ,need some onion,garlic,salt, pepper,and a BBQ!!

Piper..good one...I was asked recently by a firend how to fish for silvers in the Canal. He has a cabin over by Tahuya (sp)? I was told by someone who knows how to do it that a red Wiggle Wart casted to jumping fish works. What advise can pass on?

PS Someone else posted my photo awhile back and I got blasted for wearing my bib overalls....can't get enough pockets out on the water in my book. The same picture is on the cover of this month's Reel News. There my identity is an open book.

Ron, those fish came from the south canal. two on spinners two on plug cut herring... and nope not trolling, casting... short leader 1/16oz keel weight. To answer your question granpa, yes red ww's work good, so does alot of other things. I've found the primary keys to catching estuary fish are stealth and boat position. Spooked fish wont bite well. Find a school figure out their pattern and fish in front of them... Right on with the jigs aunty, My buddy hooked one on a jig last weekend as well.

Have a place 1mi from Hoodsort do quite well off the deck,you name it i have caught it .My fav is the cutt's off sund rock.

Nice pics Piper maybe one of these days I'll have to get a digital camera got a nice 35mm but kind of a pain to take the bag ,lenses (etc)with you already have enough other gear to pack along.Hmmmm christmas isn't to far off hey dear..........
