Checked out the Nooch today, still brown. also, The mailbox hole road is closed as in posted. That was the take out for thousands of boats that floated from the crossover rd down. People keep abusing land along the river, pretty soon you will only be able to launch at White bridge and take out on the
Chehalis. You can make it an overnight trip.

Yeah, and you'll have to watch out for the sleds. I don't fish the rivers so much anymore. Can't stand the trash and I don't just mean the bait boxes and monofilament.

Actually, they closed it this summer. I have property just around the bend from there. Luckily, I know alot of the homeowners so will always have access. But funny how many abuse it. Not just the "summer fun crew" either partying. Alot of fisherman made a mess of the place. Funny thing, I was about the only one making an attempt to clean up the area around there. I can normally fill up my cat in one trip and still have plenty of garbage. Was bound to happen.

Yep!

I posted on it this summer when it first happened. With all due respect to steelheader69, it WAS mainly the summer party crew that broke the camel's back. I watched it weekly get worse from june, into july *** finally by august the landowner had had enough.

The last time I used the access(end of july) There must have been close to 50 teenagers/early 20's types cranking their speakers, leaving firepits full of s**t, diapers, bottles etc....as I went to retrieve my rig.It was bad!!!! I knew right then and there it was a matter of time and sure enough, it closed a couple days later.

I'm not saying fishermen are saints either but there's simply no comparison of the litter output between winter and summer.

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

What it's gonna do is put more sled's from the white bridge to the gravel bar / mail box hole.
This will suck big time.I've alway's wanted the sleds to be from the deversion down on the nooch and from the west fork down on the satsop. But with the take outs / put in's being shut off I'm seriousley thinking of useing the sled in those part's if need be.Good luck,
