there's definitely a shortage of sporting goods stores down in the south end...all we have in olympia is tumwater aka ripoff sports

Tackle shop in Goldbar? I drive by there dang near everyday fishin and have yet to see advertisements or an actual shop. Does it have quality stuff like Traders or is it more like the one that was in Sultan were Bubbas is now?

Great place for one, and very convenient for getting gear on the way up!

It only opened last Saturday and I have only kind of peaked in the window since it fully opened but it does appear to have quite a variety.

I wish them luck, but it's a tough go trying to operate a tackle shop in a remote area. I will buy whatever terminal gear I need there whenever possible. But they typically can't compete on the big ticket items like rods and reels. And I am not certain thay can make it in swivels and floats.

Now, if the Sky held the amount of fish it should, like the vedder does, he could have a shop like Fred's in Vedder crossing. Heck there's even a portable resturant operating on one of the bettter run on the Vedder.

Oh I had a dream last night that the Sky had the runs the Vedder does. Havn't had one of those dreams in years.

thanks for the info LT if I'm up that way I will make sure and stop by. I like checking out different tackle shops and can usually find something I just cant live without
