Good Morning to each of you…

I just wanted to let you know, that with the most sincere heart, I appreciate what you gave and what you did for my family, my country, and myself, BY SERVING YOUR COUNTRY.

You that severed have assured that the freedoms that I hold dear will be shared with my son's and the next generation.

We can Worship in the way we want, if we want.

We can Say what we want, and don't have to listen if we don't want.

We can Gather together without fear of imprisonment.

We can cast a Vote for who we want in a way we want, without fear of reprisal.

So, for all that you did and gave, WITH THE UTMOST RESPECT AND GRATITUDE….

There are several members of the armed forced who visit and contribute to this site. With so much bashing going on about what our troops are doing it is time to thank them for sure. They go unselfishly into harms way so we can stay safe here at home. Thanks to all of you for doing your part so America can remain secure and free.

In that vein maybe one of us can offer a ride the the navy guy who recently posted about coming home and looking for some coho. I will offer to take him on a walk in, but don't have a river boat.

I salute veterans as well. And Grandpa, just because I don't support the mission it does not mean I don't support the troops!!!!

As a Vietnam vet I am glad that people are recognizing the sacrifices that our armed forces men and women have made and are making are making throughout the world.

I was listening to John Carlson (KVI) on the drive home today and he mentioned that this Saturday at 10am there will be a rally to support the troops as they are called up to Ft Lewis. I beliece it was the 122 exit? I'm sure they'll be repeating it over the next couple of days.

I call my Dad every year on Vet's Day and say, "Thanks, Dad!"

He always says, "You're welcome, son. And "Thanks" to you, too" To which I respond in like, "You're certainly welcome, Dad."

Cool tradition we have, I think.

He's 86 now and he's the one who taught me to fish.....another thing I'm grateful for.

4 years with the Marine Corps I've been all over the world, 9 countries total. Mainly the [Bleeeeep!] holes the others don't want to go in to
I've spent time on the Korean border in the winter time(-10) and in Somalia in the summer(124 degrees).
I've seen their quality of life and would not trade it for our worst of times.
We have so many freedoms here that we take for granted it would blow your mind.
Some countries there are no fish in the rivers because fish can't live in sewage

I see some topics on here that really get some of you intense, like FLOSSING, BARBED HOOKS,
BAIT, BONKING A LEGAL WILD STEELHEAD.
Or which of the two are the real evil, Bush or Clinton?

And you voice your beliefs.
You vote for who you want to.
You fish wherever you want to.
You worship whom you choose.
You give money to those whom you choose or believe in.
You can even start a business without having to bribe some Gov't official.
And no police come to your door in the middle of the night and take you away, never to be seen again by your loved ones.

These are worth fighting and dying for
And I would do it all over again in a heart beat!!!
