I hear it's going to be the featured river in the next Fishing and Hunting News and that Outdoor Life will be doing a three part series on it. Now if we can only get Bill Dance to do a "best of' show on it we will have a trifecta.

Please don't hate me for having a sense of humor. rolleyes

FYI-

The Lyre access is indeed, unfortunately, closed. Plus the river is absolutely smoking, mostly due to Lake Crescent being pack full of water. The visibility in normally air-clear Crescent has fallen to mere feet from all the rip roaring floods. My sources on the OP say even the Lyre wont be fisher-freindly for some time, possibly Sunday marginally. Opportunities for theis weekend? Pass the salt, let's go blackmouthin'. :p
