Anyone have experience with the Hoh and the storms that have had it blown since October?

i've only fished the Hoh for 2 years, so i have no experience with this year's murky sludge-fest. What's the deal? when can we expect a return to even 2-3 feet of vis.? Have same questions about the Queets as well.

Upper Quinault has slides in both forks and ranger says glacier may have calved. Anything more than 1/2 inch of rain and it's out. Ranger says max vis. since Oct. has been 3-4 ft.

The South Fork of the Hoh is the problem this year. Many new slides and clay bleeds from the massive blast of rain Oct 2oth. Normally, the So.Fork runs clear, no matter even the hardest squalls, but this year, e-gad... The fly only water above the boat ramp is running fairly clear below 2200cfs. Get a fly rod or bag it unless we get a long period of dry, cold weather. Wish I had better news. cry
