I have been trying to sell my 2000 hyde combo for $4400.00 and did not get one bite....wuz up,am I asking too much??It has factory heaters ,front and oarsman,9 1/2 cataract oars, galv. trailer, anchor, and is wired for a trolling motor.I have owned willie, alumaweld and even a don hill knock off and this one out row's and out tracks them all.I even offered a test run on the nisqually. All in all this is a bad ass boat that I don't use and can't sell....why?

Nice boat, but with the difficulties in fishing in one alone and the rivers getting ever more crowded I could understand why it would be tough to sell. After all, it is a $4400 used rowboat. I know how much they cost new. I've price out a 17ft Clakacraft and ouch. Not really in the market for another drift boat now but next year I'll be looking to rid myself of the aluminum one and step up to a fiberglass driftboat.

A couple reasons could be,
1) Christmas, people are spending their money elsewhere, or,
2) Boat show season is right around the corner, if I were currently in the market for a db I would hold off and see what kind of deal I could get on a brand-new boat.

linestretcher, I'm set. But sounds fair, so keep the faith. The sale always seems to come when you least expect it. If I was in the market though, driftboats are the one item I would never have a problem with buying used. Wish I could say the same for alot of other products. Good luck.
Now about that Nasty drift? Where the heck can you put in and take out without a pass these days? Inquiring minds want to know. PM or email if you like. Thanks.

Consignment at Hyde might be an idea. Have you tried Ebay, or some classified sources out of state? Washington and Oregon seem to the home of the Willie and if you're asking a fair price for one, they sell immediately. It's something to think about when buying a boat.
Willierower, what model are you trying to sell?
