Haven't had the boat out in more than 2 months. Busy busy at work, but can't wait to drop the downriggers and get some BM fishing in. Love fishing area 10 in December. Hopefully will be able to scrape up some decent BM.

I usually winterize on about December 1st and don't use the boat til mid February. Not this year. I'll be doing the Kingston / Jeff Head deal on Dec 18th (wind permitting).

I have heard that there is a good chance we will have uninterrupted BM fishing in the north sound next year.

I wish they would extend that year-around rule to the straights. As of right now, just as the herring and salmon are moving in, they close it.

I plan to fish Area 10 this winter. Did that last year and it was okay.

Slabquest, where did you hear it will be un-interrupted next winter??? I was afraid whne they took that away and imposed the 1 fish limit it would never go back which is what usually happens.

I am counting the days till it opens in mid-December. Now that weddings, busy season at work and hunting are out of the way I'm hoping to get back on the salt.

I am planning on hitting it right after XMAS. I am sure I will be spending most of my time over at Jeff head. Hope there are some days without the high wind. In February I plan on hitting Mid Channel Bank.

I'll be out, too.

Haven't been fishing in over a month and my last outing was the shortest fishing trip ever. I was fishing by myself in 8-2 and hooked a BM 5 minutes after getting the line set. I wasn't sure if I should be excited or disappointed.... I was glad to have a nice fish, but couldn't believe my day was over so fast!

Coho Mojo vs The Salmonella for braggin' rights and beer!! Sounds like it would be a blast. I'll talk to Rick68 about getting his boat ready, toss in myself, DD jr, Tango Lima and Directional Finder, a B-B-Q after fishing......sounds like a plan, eh?

Better plan on the Salmonator showing to the mini derby- especially if there's beer and a BBQ!

Sounds Great DR! Talked to Rick68 and he is planning on fishing, but has to work that Saturday but said the boat will be hitting the water on Sunday. What do you say DD, let's put something together!
