The Sportsmans Warehouse here in the Tri-cities is great for hunting gear, knives, clothing, etc. Awful good prices on guns.
The fishing department can be another story though. They have absolutely the most extensive, prettiest, and complete selection of stuff that isnt working this week or next on the local rivers you can imagine. With time maybe their department manager will gain some local knowledge and be able to use SW's buying power to stock important specific items in advance instead of 2-6 weeks late. Maybe he already has. I havnt been there to buy tackle in a couple months.
Once you get the superstore dont forget to spend some money with the small businessman who knows what to preorder for stock and when...even if he cant always afford to do so.

Sportsmans warehouse is a go. My boss at work (the Costco next door to the proposed site) heard that it was a go. They will be sharing the old Home Base store with Levitz. I might have to get a 2nd job there, just to pay for the hobbies! Elkman Ryan

Ya know Elkman, I thought the same way when I found out that Outdoor was moving just down the hill from me, (10 mins. on a bicycle), but come to realize that would mean to cut into my fishing time......oh d@mn! Robert

I heard they were going to put one in the Everett area just north of the silver lake Costco. I think in the old Home base store also.

Anyone know the status of the G.I. Joes in Lake Stevens? Suppose to open in the old Safeway store there.

For you Tri-Cities boys, Critters used to have it all. Now check out Sportsmans. They usually have what you need, if not they can get it for you. If you still want their bait, check out the Giant Nickel for adds. The shrimp is still awesome.

The GI Joes is suppose to open this spring, in Lake Stevens. (that is what the sign says) We are seeing a little action around there now. Hopefully sooner than later..
