I dont want to here you guys wine about a little snow. Its been white over here since the first week of November. We have nearly 3 feet on the ground right now and winter is just starting \:\( .

I have atleast 2 feet on the roof and have to shovel my drivway almost every day. there is 4 to 6 foot burms along all the roads.

Did I mention its been in the low 20's most of the time.

Who said we were wining? I like it, its like being a kid again, and lets face it, we dont get much snow in the South Puget Sound area, so any little bit is something to get excited about.

Fish Doc,

Please...NO PINEAPPLE EXPRESS!

If that came in right now all that snow in the higher elevations would melt off, the rivers would flood and fishing would go to the dogs in a hurry.

Not counting all the folks along this river that could get flooded out...again. We are on high bank, but all that water rushing along the bank just wears it away. We lost a foot of property in the Oct. 21st flood. Worse yet, we aren't allowed to install any type of permanent barrier as this is the designated "Wilderness" zone.

A slight warming to the high-30's or low 40's would be perfect...melt that snow too fast and ...well, its icky.

Here's what my 4 and 7 year old did, while I was fishing.

Make sure you wave when you float on by. Not a boat on the river today, at least where we were. (please don't tell where)

And yes, that is his "fishing" pole. ;\)

that has got to be the best snow"fisher"man i have ever seen. I like the float for the mouth and a bobber nose, but what did they use for the eyes? Nice work, very creative.

Is that a lami-stick? \:D
No worry about the Pineapple, I was just kidding, those things are really bad for the the river system, I would like it to warm some as Im not a 4x4 guy and bummed to not be able to drift anything now.

Rich - sounds like your getting a bit cooped up over there. You need to relax and bit and fire up a nice movie. I recommend the Shining! ;\)

just talked to my cousin in central montana last night. they have anywhere from 3 to 5 feet of snow and yesterday the temp reached a high of -2 degrees. another of my cousins can only travel to his house from the county road by snowmobile. looks like this country is finally getting some real winter weather.

i was back home in central mt over xmas - spent 2 days on the john deer helping grandpa feed cows and plow the 'driveway'. The difference over there is that the majority of the people know how to drive when the snow hits. Here in the seattle are there are just way too many people - where there is people there is stupid people - and that means that there are way too many stupid people running around.
