I have 20 plus new solid chartreuse glitter corkies and wanted to know if any one has used them for steelhead, and do they work with eggs? I think they are size 12

Is the clown; white with the three pink dots on each side ? If it is that and the flo glitter Orange are my favorite two corkies......... Ross

They have been known to scare fish off when fished with eggs or shrimp, I'll gladly take them off your hands. laugh

All colors work if you stick it right in front of the fish

Pick out 6 colors that you like and get them in several different sizes. Smaller usually works better, but in the murky water go larger. Every river is different in what the best color is. I guess that could be the start of another thread to see if people would share what color works best on what river.

This is how the lure manufacturers 'catch' fishermen with all the purdy fluorescent and glitter colored lures wink What I like to know is what do steelhead like? And what they like is brown. Yup, dark brown! How do I know this? I asked them! zip

Gone Fishin -- It sounds like you read the book "What fish see". Active feeding summer steelhead in particular like the muddy colors.

You can use any color corky/cheater you want, as long as it's pink.....

I used to be a total peach corky guy, but don't find them as much anymore so now I like the pearl pinks 'cause they're purdy. Work too.
