Northern Sales - Mt. Vernon
Only decent shop close to home (its 35 miles each way), but my neighbor is one of the Mgr's.
Don't buy all my stuff there at NS... for a lot of the general tackle its Walmart..hate walking in the doors of the place simply due to a strong dislike of crowds, but they do have a great variety and better prices on stuff than NS does. I won't buy a rod, reel or anything of a serious nature...but they are cheapest on lead and most lures.

Bob's in Longview. You have to go there to really appreciate it. Great selection, great prices on most things, and great range of quality not to mention the great service that I have received there.

My favorite tackle store? It's the best "Bubba" store of them all, Sportco. Why do I like it best? Because it's close, cheap and they got almost everything a true "Bubba" would ever need, plus nice eye candy to boot.

Mine was Ted's, but now it is 3 Rivers Marine and Tackle. They are doing a great job with their new tackle shop, and the river reports and advice are very good.

Ted's in Lynnwood.
Been shopping there for 20+ years. Even remember Ted. They stock the right stuff, have good advice and great CS. 3 Rivers is growing but will need to triple their SKU's to compete. Sportco occaisionally, and Bob's in Longview whenever I get down that way.

I wish we had either a Bob's or a Fisherman's Marine Supply up here. FMS in particular has by far the best stock of any tackle store I have ever been in. I always found their prices to be OK, but I'm not the biggest bargain hunter. What is important for me is not having an empty peg for the color and size I need, which is where GI JOes historically falls down.
I like Outdoor Emporium up here, and Ted's is great, but too far away from me. But if you have a trip to Portland, stop by the Fisherman's Marine just over the state line. Leave your wallet in the car if you don't want to have a budget impacting experience.

I have lots of favorites, my truck seems to stop at them all. But every day I stop by the ACE hardware store in Oak Harbor, Kevin and Gary give me the reports and I share my reports with them. Both of the guys have been long time fishermen in the area and have given me hints and tips on how to do well in our local waters....DJ

I'm with 4salt on that. I have bought all my latest reels and rods at Teds. I go to Joes for some terminal gear. For Boating stuff I like Boaters world. For all Salmon gear you cannot beat the Silver Horde store right here in Lynnwood! If you have not been over to see kelly and his shop you are missing out! Prices are better on flashers, dodgers, hoochies, terminal gear and everything else because thay make it in the back room!

Greg's in Lake Stevens Greg\'s Samll town tackle store. Most fisherman in the area know each other and can stand around in the store and BS about fishing but mostly Greg is a great guy...
