If you're a Sol Duc regular, you're used to going right at the split just below the put-in at Whitcomb Dimmel. That will get you in big trouble this year. A 16" fir has fallen and is submerged pointing up and across stream in the right channel. If you go that way you will likely not be able to slow your boat down and get left far enough to avoid getting forced down the right side of it. It looks ok from the top, but what a b#*@h when you get into it. beathead
