I like to use marabou jigs. They're so lifelike in the water with that undulating motion. The problem is when I take them out they dry into a frazzled clump of feathers in the tackle box. What's the best way to keep them looking good?

Try using a fly box or anything with a cork or foam bottom. This way the jigs won't bump around but instead stay in one spot by sticking them in the cork/foam.

Have you ever used rabbit hair jigs? I tend to like them better or a combo of the two materials.

I never put a wet jig back in the jig box. I throw them in a plastic bag until I get home. I hang them by the eye and use a hair dryer to dry and fluff them up. After a few uses I rip them apart and re tie them.

I keep a seperate jig box for me to put wet jigs back into. When I get home, I take that box, open it up and place it under a heating lamp until dry.

I too typically prefer fur jigs to marabou. In most water conditions, the smaller profile seems to be more effective.
