I was looking through my trout fishing things today, when i found some powerbait balls, garlic marshmallows, and single salmon eggs.

Any of you guys every use it for Steelhead?

It seems like it wouldnt be a terrible idea to me considering they make garlic scent and jensen eggs, which resemble those. Thanks for any input! what

Seems like STS mag had an article a year or so ago about using Powerbait along with whatever else you used for steelhead. Author swore it worked, who knows.

One of my fishing partners uses power bait for steelhead when he runs out of eggs. He seems to hook up about the same as with eggs. I've seen him catch winter and summer steelhead with it.

when I dont have any fresh roe, I buy a jar of those sugar cured eggs from walmart and tie them up in spawn sacs. Works great for steelys.
