Well me and my freind are planning on coming to Forks, Wa from March 11th throught he 21st, but we recently hit a big snag on our plans. My freind doesn't have his drivers liscense and I'm under 21 and have been unable to find a car rental place that will rent cars to people under 21. I read on the internet that some places will rent a car to people under 21 but would have to pay extra for insurance which wouldn't be a problem but finding a place like that isn't working out. My question is would anybody know who would rent cars to people under 21 in Washington? Thanks, Chris.

Try Enterprise. Wife just rented a car, and there was a gal in there under 21 jumping through some hoops. But she got the car.
I think there is one close to Sea-Tac Airport.
Enterprise is on-line, but if you need a local contact, e-mail me and I will try to help you.

I know the major rental car companies will not rent to under 25.

Might try Rent-A-Wreck or some other smaller rental companies.

Here's a thought.....Public Transit runs from Sea-Tac airport to Seattle Ferry.....then Kitsap Transit connects with Jefferson County Transit which connects with Clallam County Transit all the way to Forks. The runs are timed to coordinate, I believe. I could find out all the details if you are interested.

MikeB we plan on flying to Seattle then renting a car. It would consume way too much time driving from Wisconsin. Fun5acres, I will take your advice into consideration also just gonna try all my different options in terms of car rentals. I gotta make this trip a reality to get my first native on a center pin, its one of my biggest goals in terms of steelhead fishing .

Why not post a thread to the members for an invitation?

Have you been out there before? Do you know friends/relatives out here? You might hook up with a member to drive/fish with since some of us also take a week or so off to hit the coast the same time.

You might look into buying one for 10 days. If you spent less than $700 you maybe able to sell it back to who you buy it from or donate it to charity for a Tax deductioin on the way back to the airport. It's more work but might save you some bucks.

Try Enterprise and Budget. I know they both use to rent to under 25.
