Never fished this river before. Any tips would be helpful (locations, tactics, etc.).

Boat Or Bank? East Fork Or North Fork?

I was thinkin about fishing the east fork from the bank.

I would Try Lewisville Park Their is alot of good water on the upper end of the park. I would Take some Pink Worms and some jigs. Alot of people fish lower when you first get to the park, Under the bridge. You can also try Daybreak Park; It is lower on the river then lewisville. They fish jigs, worms and bait their. Im curious about the drifts on those two rivers, what are they like??

The north fork is bigger and has more frog water, l from the new school on hwy 503 on down to the mouth. Their is a lot of good water from the dam on down to the hatchery. And from the hachery down to the island ramp.The north fork is eaier than the kalama its a pice of cake.

If I was going to do the east fork I would put in at the boat ramp at the top of Lewisville park and Take out at Daybreak Park. It has a little faster water with bigger rocks not bad if you can read water good.

I'm down on the EF of the lewis alot during the winter, when do you plan on making your trip?
