OK do you guys consider Buck Island the one below the old Train Trestle by Al Borlen Park or is it the Island just above the trestle. I have heard of both referred to as Buck Island and was just wondering.

It's below the train trestle! I like fishing there too, caught this little guy right there this year. Some of you might recognize the picture from somewhere......Hmmm.......

Nice little football Sky-Guy. This is my favorite nate spot, but I call it the island above Lewis Street, not Buck Island. Some of the fly guys call it "Doe Island". I've always heard that Buck Is is the one above the trestle.

I think Buck Island is the one above the trestle where Woods Creek enters the Sky. Buck Island is not an island when the water is low.

Funny Peri I had the same thought when I posted. This one was taken back in the end of Dec. An early scouter Nate.. ..for those who care. Man it was COLD back then!


I'll abide by the law once it's in place and keep 'em wet, but wouldn't you agree that a amendment should be put in place that reads;

All fish must be kept in the water unless you catch that "once in a lifetime" 25+ fish! Then you have 5 seconds for a picture!

Ah, I'm just kidding . Maybe we should start a thread soon dedicated to all our old nate pictures and call it "The final chapter"?? A last Hoorah.

I wouldnt want to be the first person to post up a picture once the rule is in place and get mauled for it here. That's for sure!

You're a cool person, 'SkyGuy'. I wasn't mocking you, just making an observation. I think it's a silly rule and full of hypocrisy.

I'd like to fish with you sometime.. I'll have my 21' Trophy at Edmonds in April, I hope, you are welcome aboard anytime..
