Last night I was told by a license dealer that you can get extra punch cards for free with a license purchased before April 1st.

After that, they are $10/each.

And, as all know, current licenses expire on March 31st.

I purchased my '04 license at the Puyallup show and the woman told me the same thing about an extra catch record card. You can still obtain a second '04 catch record card and not be charged the $10 fee but you need to get one before April 1st.

I've only filled 1 punch card in my life for salmon but it sounds fishy cuz you could poach fish on your other card like the truckers who keep 2 books. But no one would do that, right? That should be Yeah Right with sarcasm. I know the money goes into the general fund but it is money that could have been generated for a state that can't manage it's way out of a wet paper bag.

you have to turn your punch cards in at the end of the season. So, the duplicate dates on each punch card would be noted at that time.

A smart fisherman plans ahead as he gets close to filling a card up and at that point has two cards capable of being punched.

I thought you were supposed to turn in your punch cards but there is nothing requiring it?

Does anyone know if you have to mail in the catch records or can they be dropped off at a designated location or license dealer?

I mail them some years and forget others but if the dealer has a place for them do that
