Has anyone on the board ever fished with a Van Staal multi modulous graphite rod? I was just wondering how they compared to other rods out there i.e. loomis lamiglas, st croix etc... Any info appreciated. One more thing, can you make a casting rod out of a fly rod blank?

Haven't heard anything about their rods but I do have a pair of their pliers and if their rods are anything like their pliers they should be outstanding. I did a goolge search and didnt really come up with anything in the way of rods but their reels look pretty cool!
