TRUCK!

Finally got my dream rig. '01 F350 Crew Cab Lariat Powerstroke 4x4. Now I just gotta get my wife to buy me a camper and a new boat.

Sweet! I have had enough of this dodge talk lately- That is the ticket right there!
Mine is a 2000 crew short and it is the truck I have always wanted.

My wife must not subscribe to the big truck thing though...

I love your choice in trucks, a nice looker as well as functional. My first Ford truck was a 99 7.3 , have since upgraded to a 2004 6.0. Heres mine a F-350 King Ranch. I had all the goodies for the camper from my 99, including the torq-lift Superhitch.

The company I work for was just told by a Dodge dealer that the one year old 4X4 pickup we have is not, and I quote "an off road vehicle". This comment was made while in negoiations trying to get the company to pay for a transmission and other parts that encountered a rock that were not protected by the plastic skidplate. Yes, plastic!!

I'm also looking for a glass canopy if you guys have any recommendations. want cab high with opening windows for the dogs.

The Lavro in the background is a 14 footer that everyone will tell you not to buy, but I love this boat. definetly the Ferrari of driftboats and I could never part with it.
Hope you guys nail the springers, my firstborn fisnin' partner is coming into the world April 10, so my next trip is Neah Bay in May

I choose a Dodge, but folks need to remember that we all have diffent preferences and make diffrent choices. Otherwise there would be only one type of truck on the road. I love my big Dodge and that Cummins Diesel, especially now when I see gas prices and I see diesel at about .10 less than gas. I got 18.5 MPG on my first tank with a mix of city and freeway driving.

I would love your truck too. Yeah, its a good feeling to look in the drivewy and smile. Congrats on a great truck.

Why a glass canopy? Your truck is steel, ain't it?

Check the strength, warrantee & looks of a steel Gemtop painted with Ford factory paint. Mine has a 500 lb rated rack on it that's just bolted to the Gemtop (to give you an idea how strong they are).

Remember you said that when you are sitting on the side of the road with your front wheel/spindle etc.. in the ditch cause the Dodge Boys put wussy ball joints on your truck
