Hey all. I was thinkin of gettin lost this weekend on my buds boat. Any tips on where to go for blackmouth in areas 8.1, 8.2 or 9 would be way appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!!!!

pmartin thanks...any ideas on gear? moochin? trollin? depths? how much water? thanks again. I dont have down riggers.

Try mooching plug-cuts right near the bottom of 60-100' of water at Point No Point and/or Double Bluff.

\:\) Was out Wed. with one of my boys. Started on the s. side of Hat and hit 2 fish within the first half hour ( which the kid promptly crackered off). couldnt raise any more there so we moved to the race track where we got some shakers and a couple of keepers. I released mine and he kept his which was a nice 6lbr. Saw more bait at the race track than where we were at Hat.
