Well the Huskies fought to the very last second tonight. Best basketball game I've seen in a long time. After comming back from being behind by 10, they where able to bring the score within 2 in the last minute of the game. But they just couldn't do it. Final score was UAB 102 UW 100, the highest of the first round. Well, at least they made it to the play offs.

They do a great job of getting it to the basket rather than settling for the long 3's.

Should be a fun team to watch next year, with all but one returning!

Those UAB boys could steal the ball better than any team I have seen in a long time. In the early stage of the game, the Huskys point guard was scared to bring the ball up the court.

What a fantastic game. You could tell the Dawgs were a young team facing a pressure defense. They weren't used to that kind of pressure, but they were able to get thier heads on straight after a few minutes.

Foul trouble hurt them, too, and some of the fouls were ones upperclassmen tend to avoid, but underclassmen get sucked into.

In any case, they hung tough and looked good for the big TV audience.

I agree. UAB's defense was very aggressive(hard to say that with all those points, but it was), and it kept the slashers from driving. If this team works hard in the off season and gets even better, watch out . Great game though, cant wait till next year.

A great game that kept me on the edge of my seat (well, except when I was pacing). Have to tip my hat to both teams. Thought the difference was the experience of the players (seniors versus sophmores).

Have to like the development of the husky squad! looks that we are in for some fun times the next couple years.

Even though my bracket is in shambles have to love March Madness!..
