Went out for some springer fishing with stlhdh2o Friday and Saturday. We fished the Cathlamet area and got one keeper each day. It was great to get some fresh nookie blood in the fish box!

On Saturday, we lost a nice fish to a sealion. I hate it when that hapens, especially when it is so slow! There were 22 boats anchored within eyesight of our location and only 3 fish hooked including the two we hooked. The sealinos got two of those 3 fish! Canyon man hooked one, and chased the sealion for about 5 miles!

My first time on the Columbia. Long drive but any chance to fish with a machine like SteelAddict I'm taking, you know? Although I thought it was pretty ironic to be leaving Forks during mid-march at o'dark thirty to drive four and a half hours to go fishing when I pretty much moved here so I wouldn't have to do that anymore.
