I have a seat open in my sled - will be fishing between Rockport (actually Sauk) and Concrete. Last week we picked up 4... should get better as we progress BUT no guarantees!

Todd, 4Salt - I can show you where they hide!

TC,
Wish I was on the Skagit fishing today.
Good Luck!
Can you provide a fishing report when you get back?
I plan on fishing the upper Skagit in my Lavro next Saturday.

The day started off gang busters. Within an hour, two fish to the boat. Mike B. hooked the first. A mint bright 10lb nate hen WITH SEA LICE. That means that fish meant business to get past concrete in less then a couple of days! The next fish was mine, a bright 10lb buck. The wind picked up and just howled all day. Couldn't feel a damn thing after that and that's pretty much the rest of the day. I know I turned a couple more fish, problem was the wind took all the feeling out of the line and by the time I figured out the tug tug tug on the line was a fish it was a little late. \:\(

Any way it was a great day out on the water regardless. I've been very fortunate this year fishing and can't complain at all.

BTW those Sauk fish are gonna pile up in the Skagit where they can breath until they figure there's no more time left, then they'll risk fatigue and irritation swimming in the sandbox.

Did you fish from Rockport to Concrete in a sled?

We fished from the mouth of the Sauk on down to the big logjam that broke through at Ovenells.

Had it not been for the wind I'm sure our day would of read a little more like 5 or 6 to the boat!

Good luck to you!
