A 200# seal is one thing...I'd like to see a dog retrieve an 800# sea lion, especially if it was still kicking when he got out there! I think I'd go with the boat retrieve! Fish on... My Chocolate might have been able to do that in her early years but not anymore. That's impressive. I am no great fisherman, and a steelhead is not the covenant of Christ, but with each of these fish I am rendered speechless.

Just made me go, "Ahhhhhh" (NOT) Years ago (late '60's) I worked for RCA in Kotzebu, AK and used to go seal hunting with one of the local Eskimo's....never had a dog to retrieve them though.....used to harpoon them with a seal belly balloon (known as a float, Dave :p ) to keep them from sinking after being shot, then come back later and pick them all up. It took some pretty tricky shooting from a bobbing boat while it's under power, but what a kick it was! _________________________ Agendas kill truth. If it's a crop, plant it.
