This isn't the best picture I have of it but here is my new 13 foot pontoon boat, a Dave Scadden boat. It's help return me to fly-fishing. I haven't used it on a river yet but am really looking forward to it later this year. It can be set up as a one or two person boat. I'm also thinking of using it for an overnight drift/camp on the Skykomish. Just like Huck Finn. \:\)

10' Xstream with an '86 Honda Spree for a turnaround. Works pretty good for solo floats.

I have a 1991 16' Gregor that will not be the top boat of any class, but has been good to me. Her service is nearing an end however, as I am currently surfing the classifieds for a new money hole. My ultimate goal is to have a nice enough boat so that someday Gutz will want to whore a ride from me.

So now that you are looking at her, tell me the best way to help get all that corrosion off the sides. I have used Mothers, but she has such a bad build up the rag turns black and is spent as soon as I begin. I dont have 1000 rags to do the whole hull. What do I do? any way to break the build-up down before polishing?

Last November i picked up my '04 Hewescraft and have been in love ever since. It helps that it's powered by two Honda's but to me this boat is in the top of it's class. Deep...Wide...Very stable

I'd post my new Willie but it seems that I can never get it to load. Must be my dial-up or maybe that I use a MAC. Could I send it to one of you to post? Thanks.

My new ride. Here's the photo of first day at launch in Everett. It's since been christened with several successful fishing trips. I had been eyeing the Grady's for years and sold my Seasport to buy this. I have no regrets. I absolutely love this boat. Can't wait for summer excursions to Canada.

Thanks for the compliments. It really is a wonderful boat. The boat is 30' and no it doesn't take a staff to run it. In fact I've went out several times by myself and had no problem unloading, fishing or loading the boat. I've always had trailers with rollers and this trailer is the big King with bunks. It's easier to load than my old boat on rollers. I finally did something on this one that I've always wanted to do. I bought, parked it and did all my own rigging. It was a lot of fun and I now know every nook and cranny so if there is ever a problem I will have a working knowledge of where to look.
Chaser, if you meant a yellow lab then it was me at the docks in Everett. He's aged quite a bit in the last 6 months and just isn't up to jumping in and out like he used to be.

Thank you Mike.Your help is much appreciated.

Those are my fishing machines. My wife is holding a Cowlitz summer run.The boat was Willies show boat in 98.

Our 2nd anniversary will be in Aug.Our 1st fishing trip together, the bite was really slow, actually non-existant.After several hours I told her "Fishings pretty slow,we can head in if you want" Her reply was " Its kind of early to get off the river dont you think"I new then I was hooked. I proposed to her a few months later during a very succesful summer stealhead trip on the Cow.

She broke off a leader and as she was looking in the box for a swivel, she found the ring.Fortunately for me she didnt hesitate to say yes.

Shes been the best fishing partner I could ever ask for.

Just like every other fisherman,I think I have the best of the best.

Here are some Photos of an old Antique I have had for 11 years or so Think I paid $900.00 or so for the boat With a 65 H.P. Merc with a pump and an ancient EZ load trailer.
I Painted it, put on a riser, an Evinrude 90 (65 Jet ) and am on my Third Kicker motor I don.t think the main has even 100 hours on it.
A couple of years ago I got tired of tripping over Fuel cans so I Installed an 18 Gallon tank under the Console.
I keep on thinking about selling it but Its paid for has a new trailer and catches fish.
By the way (is it steelymans boat in the picture?)I recognise that Launch that the willys is on, My dads old backyard. If you look up in that tree that overhangs the launch You might just find a few years worth of number 1 or 2 brass colored vibrax with single siwash hooks stuck in various places out of reach up in the tree. Before the flood in 94 there was a slot on that side of the river that always was good for a summer run or two. actually even now if you walk upriver to just before the property line, summer run like to hold there on that side after coming up the fast water below. I used to hook one or two out of there with small spinners quite often.

I have an Alumaweld Intruder, the same color as AuntyM.

If you get the 20' model, and get an inboard jet, then you've got the BEST SINGLE ALL-AROUND BOAT there is.

Ok, ok, a 23' Duckworth with an inboard jet would probably be at least as good. But the point is that a roughly 10-12-14 degree "V", with an inboard jet, in an all-welded aluminum boat, with a canvas removable top, is the best ALL-AROUND boat out there, bar none!!!!

But I gotta admit, a 25' Grady White, sitting in the water, is the SWEETEST LOOKING boat around! Hey HogHunter, I'll trade ya!

LT,

I am truly shocked that you would ever think I would mock you or your lovely craft, a sister of my own. But isn't it time you took those guilded training wheels off and let her spread her oars? Might help you get thru the thin stuff better too. She's probably bored with that frog water you've been running anyway.

Also, you, of all people (Lavro devotee that you are), should know that those are not blemishes. Those are her beauty marks amoungst her battle scars and she's quite proud of each and every one.
You know how Ron's girls are. ;\)

BTW, thanks for the use of your rad picture. I didn't really want to have to drag out that incriminating photo of my boat with the Zogster standing next to her hoisting a couple of boots. \:D

That was my boat that you were talking about. That was at your Dads launch.
It must have had a lot of good memories for you to pick that out so fast.I know the spot you are talking about on the other end of the property. There is a nice little shelf there that the steelies and silvers like to sit behind.
My wife is a good friend of your folks. She said to tell you that your Dad is her all time favorite person.I'll p.m. you and fill you in on the connection with your folks.

The tutorials on the all of the boards aren't that easy to understand for me.

View your picture. Right click-properties, select the address to the image, right click-copy.

Then, in your message type . Make sure you don't leave any spaces between the address and the [/image]. I hope this helps you.

Hi guys,
This is my first post so I figured I would try to post my boat. I ordered it last year at the sportsman show. It is a 2003, 20' Fish-Rite, Yamaha 115hp 4-stroke main, Yamaha 8hp 4-stroke, high thrust kicker, 2 scotty electric downriggers, and garmin 240 blue to list a few of the major options. I use it to fish the big C for springers and walleye (thus the name). Also fish PS and Sekiu. Was going to go for halibut out of Neah Bay on the 28-29 but the season got cut short and is now closed \:\(
Have monitored this board for quite some time and finally decided it was time to join.

Here is a picture of my boat. It's a 1992 16.5' Wahoo! I have a Suzuki 85 main and a Johnson 15 hp kicker. The boat rides very nicely. Probably not enough freeboard to head out very far out in the big blue, but does fine in close here at La Push.

Here is my boat. A 2001 16' Smokercraft Osprey. It has a 50hp Yamaha main and a Honda 8hp kicker, Scotty electric downriggers, black box, fishfinder, GPS, VHF, Trollmaster remote throttle for the kicker. I use it to fish for salmon in Puget Sound and the Strait and in lakes for trout when salmon season is closed.

This is my 21ft Arima with a Suzuki 140, Yamaha kicker, Scotty electrics, Garmin GPS fishfinder. Great boat for the family and lots of room to fish.

That's a fine fishing craft Mark, and thanks again for the ride that day.

Hey Titanium..I know that boat! (Thanks also for the trips last year...enjpyed every minute of it!)

Here's a shot of my boat ....just got it two weeks ago from T/C...

Of course, that is what it USED to look like...right now it is naked to the frame rails and getting a new diaper on her bottom along with some epoxy, redesigned interior and new paint. Won't even look like the same boat when done.
