I personnally preferre Sportmans over sportco. It is alot more organized. Like everywere else you are going to find stuff that is more expensive than other places if you look hard enough, but from what I have seen and heard from friends of mine they are about the same or cheaper than sportco. If you haven't been to one you have to at least make the 45 minute drive up and check it out for yourself. Their are a few guys that I work with that aren't sportsmans and they were disappointed because they though it was going to be a sporting good store. I asked them what part of sportsmans wearhouse don't you understand.

I would disagree and say that Sportco will definitely lose some business as a result of the new store. I live in Belfair, and would rather drive to Silverdale than Fife. I will still go to Sportco, but not as much. There are a lot of people in the surrounding area who will do the same. It may not break the bank at Sportco, but it will have an impact.
I really enjoyed the new store. I took me an hour just to get half way through and I dropped a couple hundred dollars. Got a Beckman Salmon net that I was going to buy at Auburn Sports, but they were all out.
Didn't spend too much time in the fishing section, but I will be back very soon.

To those of you holding your breath about Cabela's planning a store in the Northwest, don't hold your breath. My cousin is very high up in the management of Cabela's in Sidney, NE and I pinned him down recently at the funeral of his mother about expansion plans they have. He stated that while they will eventually look westward, all current plans are for continuing expansion eastward in the United States. Sorry to burst a few bubbles guys (and girls), but I think we are in for a long wait. In the meantime, Sportsman's Warehouse will do. They have other stores in Spokane and Kennewick and I have shopped at, and dropped, quite a bit of money at their stores in Utah.
