I need to get a bunch of lead shot to use for ballast in my boat. Does anybody know where I can find it at a decent price?

Some gun clubs sell reclaimed shot for use in reloading. One in Olympia, Evergreen sportsman's club sells it by the gallon. You might check out some near you to see if they mine their trap fields.

Reclaimed shot is the cheapest you will find. Most big gun clubs will either sell it or should know who does. You might also try getting some wheel weights and making you own lead pigs for ballast.
