fNp and GP2 .... a verified 43 lb. clipped fish last week by a bankie in People's Hole. We landed one day before yesterday in mid 30's that wasn't clipped. But certainly not the jumbos that we often find in July!
The first run fish usually average around 15-20 lbs ... they're basically springers. The second run fish, like WA fall fish, run larger and usually average 25-30.
More proof? Send a SASE and when we return home this fall, we can send a hard copy of a photo of the fish being certfied in Soldotna so Jennifer could get a Trophy Fish Certficate from the state of Alaska to hang with the picture.
