Just a reminder for any one that fly fishes, is interested in fly fishing, or just wants to stop buy, there is a board on this site dedicated to flyfishing. There are a couple of people that post on there but I'd like to see more. It's called Fins'n'Feathers and you can get to it from the main forums page, the dropdown box below, or from the link provided below. Stop in and say high, post a report, give some info, or answer someone's question. I'll see you there! http://www.piscatorialpursuits.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=forum;f=12

Yep. A recent trip to Anderson point for Sea-run Cutts. That one is a chunky 13 incher. I love thouse fish in the salt, so brite that they blind you and even their red-slashed throats don't show, and back a deep emerald-blue. Easy to catch too if they are in the area.

Now that sure is a purty little fish in your avatar but what the heck is it doing completely out of the water?
Tell us honestly FJ15. Did you kill it or something?

Actually the pic was taken inbetween waves. With all the boats in Colvos Passage that day, ther where lots of waves. If you look carefully you would see streaks of sand below the fish from the last wave. The fish was released without harm. I always let fish swim out of my hand on the release and it looked healthy with still lots of energy in him and was not bleeding.. Barbless hooks were also used. I'm a big supporter of releasing fish and anyway, you cannot keep SRCs in the saltwater. Now back to the topic, check out the fly board!
