Ok... I'm at T-24 days and counting before my trip to P.O.W. Island .... some specific questions are coming to mind. My cabin is very near Whale Passage up north on the Island... a couple of the guys want to chase halibut a bit... ANY recommendations on how to find 'em there? Bait? Techniques?

Personally I wanna fish the rivers for Coho ... and some Cutts too.. but... figured on using Steelees and pixies... anything better than these?

How about chinook in the salt water? or is last week of July too late?

Would sure appreciate some help here! It's getting so close my stomach is starting to go in and out with the tide! Speaking of which..... how is the clamming??? Littlenecks? Butters? Razors? what can I expect? Planning on bringing a crab pot or two as well... *S* Geez, I'm ready to go NOW!
