I want to float from Mission Bar to I-5. I've never fished this section. I'd like to avoid the crowds between Blue Creek and Mission Bar.
I have a few questions I hope someone could answer for me.
How many miles is the float from Mission Bar to 1-5?
What is the takeout like at I-5 and how do you get to it?
Thanks for your help.

There's some nasty rapids between Massey's and the bridge at Vader. Be careful.

Luke,
Please give me more info on the rapids at Vader. Is Vader between Mission and I-5?

Are the rapids something that a 13 foot raft with rowing frame couldn't handle?

Thanks for your help.

The drift is about 5 miles long and there are no problem rapids at all it is a easy float!!
Someone named Luke is pulling your leg!!
The take out is right under the I5 bridge cross
over the bridge and take the next exit. It is easy to find your way!!!

Fishtale,
I thought that might be the case. I've floated the river from the Barrier Dam to Mission before. I couldn't figure out how there could be bad water down that far.
Now I hope the fishing gods cast a long fishless dry spell on Luke for the bad info he provided. LOL
