I want to float from Mission Bar to I-5. I've never fished this section. I'd like to avoid the crowds between Blue Creek and Mission Bar.
I have a few questions I hope someone could answer for me.

How many miles is the float from Mission Bar to 1-5?

What is the takeout like at I-5 and how do you get to it?

Is there a shuttle service available for this section of river? If yes, could you give me a name and phone # for the shuttle service.
Thanks for your help.
Brian

Mint float, lots of good water, Ive been fishing it a lot this spring for springers there seems to be more good pockets and slots down there at these flows than above at the zoo. Also if you want a little longer float you could proceed down to Olequa ramp another 4 miles, some really mint water down there too.

Mike,
I accidently posted this twice yesterday. Someone replied to my other post that there are some "nasty" rapids at Vader, which I would guess is between Mission and I-5. Can anyone verify this for me and is it anything a 13 foot raft with rowing frame couldn't handle?

Thanks for all your input.

If those are nasty you shouldn't own a driftboat ;\) . Piece of cake.

That a easy float and not a lot of people. Go for it.Call Ruth first I think $15 to pick you up at I-5 I know it's $10 if you go Blue Cr. to Mission.
