I took a new job and will be moving to the Grants Pass area soon. Does anyone want to hook up and take this geographical newbie under his wing for a little area familiarization?

Thanks guys. I hope there are still afew nookies left when I move down there in late August.

Grump the fall nook run is just starting to get good in late aug. early sept. in the GP area we fish over there a lot in sept. Then move over to the Chetco in Oct and Nov or side drift behind the salmon reds for steelhead down there also . also there are lots of other good fishing around I think you will like it down in this area very much Pete

Thanx Pete, do you have any tips on where to go for bank action? I'm sure my time will be limited this Aug & Sep since I still have to find a place to stay, etc..

Finley Bend,Ferry Hole,Hop Yards,Robinson Bridge is the best spot with Finley bend 2nd you just need to go a long the river from Grants Pass to Galice on both sides of the river and talk to folks . We fish from a drift boat so I am not to much help on bank fishing. Pete
