The guys who get the full amount had to have caught over 300,000# of salmon. Is that right?

Hey here is a suggestion, Less comercial fisherman = less fish on the market. Less fish on the market = higher prices. It's supply and demand people. These comercial fisherman want to be able to catch as much as possible and make a killing off of it. First they whine that there are no fish out there, then when the fishing is good and there is a glut of wild caught salmon the comlain about that. I sell fishing tackle for a living, in the bad years when we don't seel allot of gear due to bad runs where is our check? This is exactly what is wrong with out country. Whene you have a dinosaur industry like comercial fishing going belly up you don't keep it bearly allive by giving it a small transfusion. Let it die! God knows every one would be better off! Sorry about the rant, I HATE comercial fishing!!!!!!!
