We are in the middle of some severe geomagnetic storming. Go up to http://www.spaceweather.com and take a look at the monster sunspot thats causing all the hupla. Also go to http://www.sel.gov/noaa.html and take a look at the kp index . Very high in the red, don't think for a second that we are not getting a very high dose of x rays. I would not be caught out without at least 30spf+ or greater sunscreen.
