Just got home from doing the Sockeye thing.
We got on the water @ 3:00pm and there seemed to be a decent bite and then it got real slow.
With only 2 minutes till 8:00, we got our 6th fish.
We saw huge schools of fish and we'd run our gear right through them without any take downs.
Seems the scattered fish were the bettter biters.
Time to hit Elliott.

Started fishing ay 1. Within the first 10 minutes we got 2. An hour later we got 1 more. Then after that we hooked 2 but lost them. Decided to go home with 3. Seemed to me we were doing better than most people in our area.

Fished the north end from 5 till dusk hit one nice 8lber had two takedowns but no hookup, slow...... made a move for the last hour and should not have.

We started about 6:20 and got 4 fish for 3 guys. One of the fish was 8 1/2 lbs. Did any of you guys in the pontoon boats or Seados land any fish? Oh yah right at 8:00 we released a 12-13 incher.

Fished SW Mercer and off Seward from 3:00 to 8:00. Marked a lot of fish, but only caught 2.

My buddy and I went 4 for 7 between 4 and 8 p.m. Fishing mostly north of the madness south of Mercer island.

I launched from Coulon with my brother at 12. We stayed out until 4 with no bites. The fish finder marked tons of fish though, just no biters. I talked with one of the fish counters at the launch and she said it was really slow for most people.
