About once a year I put on an extra layer of skin and play with the boys with the power boats, which is what I did yesterday.

The locals said the big push of fish happened a week or two ago with the last increase in water level, but there are still good numbers of fish present. Three of us landed 5 of 9 hooked, drifting eggs between Blue creek and Misson Bar boat ramps. The river scum that tends make things a hassel in the summer was not present, which made things rather nice. The crowd was about typical, but you've got to expect that if you go. Good luck.
