Can anyone explain why these areas are closed to salmon fishing, when inner Eilliot Bay is open?

Must be to protect those Issaquah Creek Hatchery Fish :rolleyes: Doesn't seem to make sense. Hopefully next year will be selective in 10.

More likely to protect Bear Creek or other Trib Nates. At least the Shilshole closure.

They also don't want you trolling for sockeye right infront of the ship canal. I have however though about trolling along the line for them.
