I am sure many people see that happening in this area. I can say though Mass and NH do not require saltwater liscences and the blue fish and stripers are getting better over there but they have increased the size limit of those fish to 34 inches ( i do believe ) I have fished off the coast for stripers for over fifteen years and have seen people take more than there limit and under size limit. What is it going to take for people to respect our resources. I dont know what it will take but I am so sick of going to the rivers out here in washington and seeing people snagging fish and keeping over there limits I have the poaching hot line on my cell phones speed dial and have already called it between 5 and 7 times and I have never seen a gamie come by. It is really making me think if they dont care and that is why most not all I am stressing the fact most dont care either. Good example Baker river this year went up there a few times seen people snagging fish intetionally and keeping them even seen one guy next to me keep 4 fish and leave. The snohomish up at heiderman park ( correct me if I said the parks name wrong ) people lined up with buzz bombs just throwing them at schools and snagging them and people even using bait for them. People constantly told them to stop but did they ever do it no. I am just thinking that if people dont respect the resources that we have inherited from our 4 fathers our sons and daughters wont be able to appreciate what us people actually care about right now. I dont fish for meat I will keep a fish for the smoker or the BBQ I will do my limit most of the time. I just enjoy wading the river and catching fish it doesnt hurt my feelings to let a fish go to know that fish can go and spawn and produce more. I guess you could also put this on Todds thread to. That is the thread that I think has gotten me all emotional.
fish on
