How is the fishing been around the mouth of the Toutle / Cowlitz River...

The Toutle is muddy but there are fish there.

There are fish at the mouth of the toutle, was there this afternoon. A few fish were caught, but by no means hot. I think that there is enough water in the toutle that the fish are not stacking like they do in lower water years. The toutle was fairly warm too, at least upper 60's if not 70. The cowlitz was much cooler

The fish are all the way up in the Green.Was there today. Lots of snaggers up there.

I was up at the mouth of the touttle on Friday night. I woud say the fishing was steady caught a nice 15# cromer myself and there seemed to be fish on every twenty or so minutes. My first time there so I was pretty happy to catch one. From talking to some people who are there pretty often it sounds like fishing will be getting hotter as the weeks go on and silvers begin to show up. Night fishing is a kick.

Is night fishing legal for salmon down there???.
