About to the point where it's time to apply a coating of Coat-It to the new bottom of the drifter. (Yeah, still a long ways to go before the "Toad" is ready to launch

Problem - Can't find the stuff. Anywhere.

Seems Flounder Bay went out-of-business, and after a couple hours Googling still can't find anywhere that sells it, or even who the manufacturer is.

I could always mix my own epoxy/graphite, I guess. Anyone got the recipe of how much graphite to add to the epoxy?

Mike,
May not be "Coat-It" but I doubt that there will be any difference whether 'they' mix it or you mix it. I did a little googling too looking for "graphite epoxy" and came up with this -> http://www.cgedwards.com/west/Fillers.html

Another article I came across mentioned this site too and the preperation of mixing graphite compound with different West epoxies to achieve a more durable and lighter weight coating. I'd just order the stuff and make my own so to speak.

Good Luck.

BTW - have you seen any silvers rolling up in your neck of the woods lately!?! ;p

I get mine at sportco, the west epoxy thing sounds good. I used the west systems stuff on my wood boat, over 100.00/gal coat it is much much cheaper.
