I'll be honest right up front. I live in W Seattle so the easiest and most convenient place for me to fish is right here in the bay. Is anyone catching them in the bay or the lower Duwamish?

I went to Edmonds with a friend Monday (4 fish caught on hootchies at 55-90 feet). Last weekend it was Meadow Point (6 caught on hootchies at 80-85 feet).

Thanks for any reports.

I fished just west of Duwamish head Friday afternoon. Caught 25+ shakers 12-15". As fast as I'd put down, I'd have a fish on. None big enough to release the clip. My buddy is fishing this morning off Salty's. He says the fish must be in the river as all the boats Sunday and today are fishing the river.

Little Fish-

I have always done well at 4 mile rock right across the bay from the launch trolling from North to South along the shorline. Start half way between 4 mile and west point and troll towards the Marina at 65 ft. with a hoochy.

Thanks for the reports/info guys. I've seen a lot of boats in the river plus talked to one person Sunday who said he'd gotten 4 in the river channel basically motor mooching a cut plug.

My standard routine for the bay is to start fishing around Duwamish head, then scoot across the bay to 4-mile rock. I hate catching/injuring all those small ones so may avoid the area for a few more weeks. In the past I've hit fish as I leave the Armeni launch ramp and/or have them hit my line while I'm reaching down to attach to the DR clip. Lots of fun and easy access from W Seattle.

Try motoring over and run up the Green. I hear there is a lot of fish around the 1st Ave bridge. I do believe the Mucks start netting this week, Sun - Thurs.
