I think if you go to one of the boat dealers up your way that carry aluminum boats, they probably have plenty of examples, of course. How far a drive is Woodinville? That's where Three Rivers Marine is. When I bought my alumaweld, I had plenty of color pictures of them given to me, as well as other brands I was looking at. Got the best stuff at the sportsman's shows.

Otherwise, check out my post on 07-19-04 for a picture of a wife, steelhead, and 19ft boat (not necessarily meant to be in that order....lol)

Hey catcher. I live in Mount Vernon. If your down my way some time you can come on over and take a look. I have an 18' - 78" beam - side console (Skagit style) aluminum sled. It was built by North Sound Marine when they were still around. It's essentially "homebuilt" as the registrations says. Handles a 175 just fine and it flies! \:\)

Catcher:

What material are you planning to construct the hull with?

I am going to use .160 thick Alum. for the bottem and .100 or .125 for the sides.

I will be fishing lots on the skagit so we will definately ;hook; up.

I hope to be able to get a 115 for it but we will see.
